There are many women who suffer from vaginal laxity, dryness and genital irritation following childbirth, or as they progress through the stages of menopause. These conditions can range from being slightly annoying to being a major barrier to enjoying a satisfying quality of life, particularly sexually.
It’s OK to talk about it – because now you can do something about it! Patients are calling MonaLisa Touch “Life-Changing”. Dr. Meena Jain at her practice in St. Petersburg, Florida, offers vaginal rejuvenation with the advanced laser treatment system MonaLisa Touch® at her Pinellas Laser location.
What is Laser Vaginal Therapy?
Women are empowered more than ever to decide for themselves how their bodies look, feel and function. Even the most intimate areas of a woman’s body can be sculpted and refined to invigorate her sexuality, enhance her sensuality, and maybe even invite a sense of sexual prowess. All this and more is possible for vaginal rejuvenation or labia reduction. Laser vaginal therapy is a form of treatment that helps restore vaginal health in women. Changes in hormone levels not only cause night sweats and hot flashes, but they also affect vaginal tissue. This can lead to loss of function, lubrication, and pliability. In addition to the sexual discomfort, these changes also decrease sensation and sexual satisfaction.
As a leader of women’s healthcare in St. Petersburg FL, Dr. Jain offers a safe and effective solution to help improve vaginal tissue and give you back an important part of your life.

- Have you ever “not quite made it” to the bathroom on time?
- Have your intimate relationships suffered due to these changes?
- Are you experiencing loss of self-confidence? Loss of interest in sex? Loss of desire?

What happens during laser vaginal therapy?
During your treatment, Dr. Jain will have you sit on the table with your feet placed in stirrups. After the preparation, she inserts the MonaLisa Touch laser device into your vagina to allow the laser energy to stimulate your vaginal walls.
The treatment takes about five minutes on its own and is painless. You may feel a slight vibration as the laser stimulates the tissue.
